1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what is and is not permitted on the Clubs.LD platform. It applies to all users, including visitors, registered users, club members and Club Administrators. This policy supplements our Terms & Conditions.
2. Permitted Use
Clubs.LD is designed for sporting and social clubs to manage their digital presence and engage with their members. Permitted uses include:
- Managing club websites, content and member information
- Making and managing bookings
- Processing memberships and payments
- Communicating with your club through the inbox and contact features
- Listing and purchasing items through the marketplace
- Recording scores and maintaining digital scorecards
- Browsing public club information and finding clubs
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the Platform to:
Security and access
- Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorisation
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Platform or any connected system
- Circumvent or disable any security or access control feature
- Share login credentials with third parties
- Use automated scripts, bots or scrapers to access the Platform without written permission
Content and communication
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing or discriminatory
- Post false or misleading information about a club, its members or its services
- Send spam, unsolicited commercial messages or bulk communications
- Impersonate another person, club or entity
- Upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights
Commerce and transactions
- List counterfeit, stolen or prohibited goods on the marketplace
- Manipulate bookings, memberships or transactions for fraudulent purposes
- Use the Platform to launder money or facilitate illegal transactions
- Engage in price manipulation or deceptive trade practices
System integrity
- Upload malware, viruses or other harmful code
- Interfere with the operation of the Platform or degrade performance for other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Platform
- Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable Australian law
4. Club Administrator Responsibilities
Club Administrators have additional responsibilities:
- Ensure club content is accurate, lawful and up to date
- Manage member access appropriately and in line with the club’s constitution
- Handle member data in compliance with applicable privacy laws
- Respond to member enquiries in a timely manner
- Review and customise template policies (terms, privacy, refunds) before activating payment features
- Report any security concerns or platform misuse promptly
5. Reporting Violations

Reports are reviewed confidentially. We will not penalise anyone for reporting a genuine concern in good faith.
6. Enforcement
Where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Remove or disable offending content
- Suspend or restrict access to specific features
- Terminate a user account or club subscription
- Report the matter to relevant authorities where required by law
We will endeavour to provide notice before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Platform, its users or third parties.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Club Administrators via email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
